How the Student Loan Toolbox (Booth 31/32) can help!
The CARES Act temporarily suspends student loan payments. Additional legislation is intended to help certain types of loans and loan holders, and the requirements are complex.
The Department of Education won’t have all the data ready until next year, but clients must complete certain consolidations this year to qualify. We can help you understand how and where to get started. Specific topics include:
- New PSLF qualification rules
- New rules regarding retroactively including deferment and forbearance periods towards forgiveness
- Adversaries – How and when to use one
- When and should bankruptcies be reopened due to student loans
- How marital status vs. tax filing status can change client payment amounts
The Student Loan Toolbox makes client analysis quick and easy. It simplifies intakes and automates followups. The Student Loan Law Workshop provides the training and support needed to help you identify the best strategies and options available to your clients.
